But the Nigerian artist Davido whose songs including Gobe and Skelewu have gained popularity across Africa, while celebrating the endorsement put it down to staying true to his culture.Whiles hailing the U.S star who he described as a ‘legend,’ Davido said he was honored advising other artistes to stay true to their culture and that ‘THEY– the big global stars –WILLCOME.’
The song basically talks about how a man seeks to reassure his lover (by name Brigette) of his unendinglove promising her a cash sum of 30billion (even though he didn’t specify whether dollars or naira) in her account plus designer wear for her. It has been been viewed over 14.3 million times on Youtube.
